About the Role:
Shades By Matiss is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Service / Order Entry specialist to join our team in Mountainse, NJ. This is a dynamic role where you'll be the heartbeat of our customer experience — handling inquiries, processing orders, and driving sales from the inside. Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels with professionalism and efficiency
- Process and manage customer orders accurately through order entry systems
- Support inside sales efforts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
- Coordinate with warehouse and fulfillment teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery
- Resolve customer complaints, issues, and returns in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM or order management systems
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or order entry roles
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with order management systems, CRM software, or similar tools
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-first mindset with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
- Experience in window coverings, home décor, or a related industry is a plus
